Hour reports

Reporting working hours

Click New in the navigation bar and select the Hour report OR select
Tools – Report work hours from the activity, in which case you can record the hours
directly to that activity.

  • The X button deletes the selected line
  • Hours can be recorded and changed until they are locked by clicking Lock all or the lock symbol. (Note: Only the administrator can unlock these).
  • Select the required rating factors (Account and Type) and enter a description in the comments field.
  • Put a dot in the field if it is for billable hours.
  • Tool menu:
    • +copy the line
    • The arrow keys move the rows

When a new week begins, the previous week’s entry lines are automatically copied
to the week and are retained until they are deleted.

Hourly entries can be scrolled with the arrows next to the date.

Hourly report management

Click on Reports from the navigation bar and then click on Hour Reports.

  • View shows that date range you selected on the screen.
  • Export the spreadsheet to Excel format.
  • Import hourly records from an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Time tracking – view reports on a per-user basis and unlock reports.
  • Time tracking invoicing – creates invoices for locked hourly reports.

Hour reports

  • You can browse entries made by different users.
  • To unlock hourly entries, press the lock image.
    Note! The post cannot be opened if the hours have already been invoiced.

Locked / unlocked hours report

Click Reports in the navigation bar and select Reports.
Select the Time tracking locking status report. Select a date range.
You can narrow your search by project.

The report shows a list of people who have recorded hours.
Green has locked hours and red has unlocked hours.

Hour report invoicing

To create an invoice, enter a time interval, select the customer and project(s).
Click Load to preview the invoice.

You can also write a comment on the invoice. Click Create.
The invoice is generated and displayed on the front page.
You can print the invoice by clicking the icon in the Export column.

Choosing a customer for the project

Invoices are applied to the correct customer when a customer is assigned to a project
from the Header menu on the project’s home page. Customer information for individual activities can be changed from the activity home page.

Defining the types of activities to be recorded

The types of activities for which hours are recorded can be specified in the configuration. Only the specified activity types are displayed in the posting window.

Activity types are set at Configuration -> Misc -> Options -> TimeTracking.Filters ->
select the desired activity types and save.
